Michał is an experienced graphic designer with exceptional analytical skills. He loves the American school of design, bold lettering and visual elements. Drawing inspiration from the USA, he creates strong concepts based on simple but eye-catching treatments. His above-average height forced him to be a basketball freak (for those interested, his favorite team is the Miami Heat).

The idea behind the poster was to use a big, bold typography and to add an element of surprise throughout form, materials and function. I also wanted to break the limitations of a two dimensional object by affecting on surroundings. That led me to the concept of letters that could glow in the dark, which were inspired by the safety signs - the basic form of wayfinding system. The idea of a photoluminescent object that can produce it's own light as the darker it gets, the brighter it becomes - is something uncanny to me. "No Exit" poster is a sort of reinterpretation of an EXIT plate that can be found in every public place.
